[Bug] Flickering of 60 fps videos on twitch.tv
-
When I try to watch some twitch.tv streams which have an option of setting video stream to 60 fps, that stream starts flickering. You can see the problem on the following video recorded from my screen:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AExTdvbNBwThe same streams work fine on Internet Explorer: all static objects keep the same color and don't flicker.
PC specs:
- Windows 7 x64 SP1 with the latest updates
- Intel Core i7 920
- GeForce GTX980 with the latest driver (391.01)
- Vivaldi 1.15.1104.3 (x64) [the same thing happened on the previous versions too]
-
I can add that this doesn't happen 100% of the time, but very often.

For the first few seconds, it works well and then starts flickering. Happens 99% of the time, couldn't find what makes it stay in sync for the 1% (reloading page in this state causes flickering again).

@1nvisible
I have fileed a bug report on that a while ago...
60FPS Streams are working bas with vivaldi. tons of frames get dropped and in the end (for me) stream ends with a dead bird tab. -
Try to change your browser user-agent to something like:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.186 Safari/537.36
for me that worked wonders
