How can I get rid of this grey line at the top of the window?
-
There is a thin grey line at the very top of the window above the tabs and window controls. I've played around with custom CSS to try to get rid of it with no luck.

@chrisvio I can't say for sure, as I don't have a mac. There isn't such a line on windows. It looks like a rule set by border-top. Try overriding it with
#browser {border-top-color: transparent}

#browser {border-top-color: transparent}
Thank you. To see what effect the different properties had I tried this
#browser {
border: 25px solid green;
padding: 25px;
margin: 25px;
}And I got this:
That grey line is still there, though so it must be some selector inside #browser. Are these documented anywhere? -
@chrisvio If you can get the browser inspector open to the "elements" tab, and then open "computed" in the panel to the right, and type border-top as the filter, you can try and click through the elements in descending hierarchy until you find the one that has the rule set

Well, I'm on mac, and this is surprisingly hard. The grey line is not really grey, it's a predefined color dependent on your theme, and only visible if the window has focus. It also only appears when tabs are on top. Should be on tabs-container or header or titlebar, but doesn't seem to be the case. Also tried with box-shadow, but to no avail.

Well ... mine has a thin blue line there (Windows 10)

@luetage I think it's associated with tabs somehow. I tried your tabs on bottom CSS and the line moved down with the tabs.
