Switching from 32-bit to 64-bit Vivaldi - How to keep settings?
-
Hi
I'm using Vivaldi for over a year on all my systems and I'm super happy with it. I have the 64-bit version installed on all newer installs (6 months). However, on my main production system I still have the 32-bit version. What's the correct (best way) to migrate to the 64-bit version without loosing all settings and bookmarks?
Thanks for any input.

@gwen-dragon Thank you very much for the quick and detailed response.

Once again, thanks to @gwen-dragon for the help, and to @rhk for posting the question. Whole procedure took me about 3 minutes; so far so good.
Wondering why the download page does not mention the version offered in the download box ("Free download 1.12 for Windows"). I didn't think to follow the "different platforms" link when I initially downloaded the install.

@Gwen-Dragon
Thank you for supplying this information. I am now already on Vivaldi 2.3 and your suggestion worked perfectly to convert from 32 bit browser to 64 bit. It even kept my extensions. -
