I am sorry but if doing this will indeed change the color of the (Mac OS X in my case) window title bar, it will simply deactivate everywhere the colorization of Vivaldi : Title bar, Tab title bar, Favorites bar and Tool bar (where the omnibar is).
How could we change the Mac OS X window title bar only ?
(I am talking about the bar with the well known three colored buttons of OS X : close, collapse, full screen that is also the one that shows up the content of the web page html title tag. Please note, I did read the sticky post on this forum about the browser.html and the custom.css but such a customization is probably more a JavaScript matter since the color is changed dynamically.
Thank you.

If your title bar changes color, that will stop it (and you can then manually pick an accent color).. A second option determines whether the accent color is used for the tab bar background or for the current tab and the address bar (and not the background) - you might try that instead to see what it does, On Windows and Linux, V has no title bar generally though there is an option in Appearance called Use native window which can change that - but I don't know if Mac has that.

Thank you @sgunhouse the second tab in Vivaldi prefs has this option to use native window. After restarting Vivaldi the title window gets its standard os x appearance back. Since I placed the Fav bar and the tool bar below the window, I found that color on the top (title bar) was a little too much.
On the other hand I find very handy the way the active tab is colored. -
