Whatsapp web panel making cpu to hog 100%!!!

Hi,
I am facing this issue from past few weeks that enabling "whatsapp web panel" causing vivaldi to use 100% cpu and making whole browser slow and halted.

If I kill the whatsapp web panel things become normal withing few seconds.

Could this be solved or any workaround or fix already available?

I am having the same issue, the side panel is unusable like this. I am using windows 10.

Did you report it as a bug to Vivaldi, guys? I have the same issue.

Am facing the same issue in Ubuntu.
