Amazon prime video won't load
-
I have always been able to watch Amazon prime videos, actually I watched one yesterday. Today, I updated Vivaldi to the latest version, 1.12.941.3.
Now the only thing I see of every movie I tried is the loading animation - and it won't go away:
Can anyone confirm this issue?
Edit: It works with firefox, so it seems to be a Vivaldi problem.

Do you have any extensions or run a VPN?
-
I'm not running a VPN.
Only extension is Adblock Plus, which has not changed recently (last update in July). -
Me too! I can't watch Amazon .co.jp Prime Video. I use Vivaldi snapshot 1.12.941.3 on macOS Sierra 10.12.6. Widevine version is 1.4.8.1000. I clicked the checking update button at vivaldi://components. But status is "Component not updated".
P.S.
I changed Vivaldi from snapshot 1.12.941.3 to Stable1.12.941.3. I can watch Amazon .co.jp prime video again!P.S.
I mistook! I changed Vivaldi from snapshot 1.12.941.3 to Stable "1.11.917.43". I can watch Amazon Prime Video by Stable 1.11.917.43. -
Welcome very much to my world and I have not been able to use Amazon Canada prime video since it launched i'm actually believe it or not I'm quite excited that is now a more widespread issue with all of amazon because perhaps as with Netflix focus will be shifted to fixing it
-
ok great so once again its the generic Canadian https://www.primevideo.com that fails and stands alone
-
I think i did long ago can't remember the ID though i do recall though it was very poorly written and lots of typos perhaps i should re file anyway?
-

I know I'm a bit late, but I wanted to inform you that with the latest snapshot 1.12.947.3, to which I updated yesterday, everything seems to be fine again. Amazon Prime videos are working again for me as they should.
Thank you for this fine piece of software.

Hi, do you understand that the problems with the videos have been solved? A user on another forum still complains about this problem, the videos continue to load and do not see it.
Should I open a new VB?PS: He is using the 1.12.955.3

I confirmed this issue is fixed! I use Vivaldi snapshot 1.12.955.3 on macOS Sierra 10.12.6. Thank you!
-
Can it depend on the geographic area?
He is in Italy and is using Windows 32bit and 64bit on two PCs that present this annoying problem.
Thank you. -
I opened a new bug report - VB-32651
