Within Vivaldi, try Menu > Help > About > Profile Path. That should show the system path trail to where the Preferences file is located on your system. Note that the Preferences file has no extension, so if you alter it using a text editor, you must be sure not to append an extension to it when saving it. To be safe, before editing the file, first make a copy and save it with a name like Preferences.orig so that if things go crazy, you can later remove the extension term and recover the original file. Do all editing with Vivaldi turned off.
I've installed Vivaldi's 32-bit version as a stand-alone installation and its Preferences file is at:
c:\programs\vivaldi1\profile\default\Preferences
However, other users' paths will vary up to the "profile" path term. -
Thank you, Blackbird.
This worked perfectly.:cheer:

It doesn't work for me. At all.
Sorry V is a no go until this thing is resolved. You can't open quickly multiple background tabs, and I (and many others) can't pick destination to save (not one default). Mad. Only what's left is waiting and rocking on big red O.

They also need a "paste and go" when you paste a link in the address bar. Another option I cannot live without.
CTRL+SHIFT+V while address bar is in focus.

A simple right click, paste and go while the mouse is in the address bar is what I want.. we should not need to use the keyboard and hit a heap of keys for a simple task.
