[BUG?] Bookmark folder quick command
-
Hello everybody,
question mark on title because I'm not sure if this is a bug, as I didn't found anything similar on the web.
The bookmark-folder quick command has stopped working since the 1.9 update; it opens a blank tab instead of opening the content of the folder. I've tried on two different machines (both Windows 10), same problem.
Do you have seen something like that?Thank you

Hello @Gwen-Dragon,
yes, the shortcut I meant (inside the quick-command form, opened with F2 by default to be clear). -
Confirmed, I already reported a while ago!
Can not open a folder that has a nickname for the quick command. Issue Collector created - VB-28544 -
It started with this problem since this snapshot! My comment
Then I made a comment about this in the other snapshot : My comment
Woe to the last one I went to report : My comment

Thank you!
By the way, what do you mean by mentioning VB-28544? Is that a kind of ticketing system? -

I'm using it with the 2 check-boxes checked in the quick commands tab in settings.
I just tried with the checked boxes on Xubuntu and it has same problem. -

Works for me with 1.10 Snapshot on Windows 10 x64.
I tried it with the Technologie folder, set the word müff as a nickname, hit F2, entered müff + Enter … et voila: all bookmarks opened in new tabs.
Explain me please, what does not work.
When the nickname is set to open automatically. He failed! Opens only one tab!

Hello!
It seems working now. Can you confirm that? -
Hello everyone, I'm having again the issue.
Is anyone facing the same? -
@mszl
it works for me as expected -
@derDay Thanks for the feedback. Does it work without pressing enter?
-
@mszl
no, only with pressing ENTER. But that's the way since long time ago (sadly)(for more than a year? I don't know exactly who but a moderator (?) told me, that vivaldi shall not open too much tabs at once without user interaction and that's why you "now" have to press ENTER; search my post history for the exact wording )

@derDay Understood, thanks. Yes, it has been like this for some time, but only now I was annoyed enough to report it
Well, if it's meant to be like this then, fine Having an option to change this behavior would be nice though :p -
