Evernote Web Clipper not working properly

Hello,
I notice that my Evernote Web Clipper is not working properly: If I click the extension button, then I just get a short summary window of the page (the one you get if you choose to clip the page as bookmark) - but nothing else. No dialog whatsoever, not even buttons to actually clip the page. The only possibility is to hit Esc to get back to the web page.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the web clipper, but this did not change the behaviour.

Does anyone else has/had this? Is there a solution?

this problem is solved with the latest release (1.9.818.29).

dont know if it is related, but was getting similar problem with the start.me extension

that co-incidentally is also fixed in the latest release.
