History Panel opens all links without warning?

Looks like the History Panel opens all links without warning?
How to reproduce:(*)
-
Open the History Panel
-
Select some date
-
Hit <Enter>
-
Zillions of tabs get open!
-
I would expect to be asked if I want to open all those hundreds of tabs
(*) Before testing you better disable restarting a new session using the previous tabs, or you'll may enter a freeze loop. If you do, reading vivaldi-unresponsive-due-to-too-may-tabs-open may help. (if you have another browser, that is )
-
-
Confirmed here too:
- Open History Tab
- Select a date
- Press Enter
Vivaldi freezes. End Task and restart from last session loads hundreds of tabs.

Please explain more precise what you do.
I am not sure how...
With which Vivaldi version does this happen?
On which OS version?Forgot about that, sorry.

The point is more or less that there is no restriction on how many history entries are loaded with one "enter-hit" (like the one that already exists for bookmarks as dleon mentioned)
As far as I tested this, it only works in "History in the making".
So when you select a bunch of history entries by accident (worst case would be Ctrl+A I guess) and hit enter they all open up at once and still persist after a restart of Vivaldi. -

What do you need? A warning like "You want to open more than 10 links from History? y/n
Yep, something like this or a restriction that can be set like the one for the bookmarks.
And it is not necessarily triggered by an active selection through the user. Sometimes when I switch from a website to the history there are random entries preselected (I couldn't pin down what causes this and in addition History in the making is still in the making ^^).
So - releasing a "tab-stampede" is only an inconsiderate press of the enterbutton apart.
