Unstaisfying zoom level with "Ctrl + Mouse Wheel" when scrolling fast

When I'm trying to zoom the page with Ctrl + mouse wheel and scrolling the wheel too fast, Vivaldi skips most steps.

E.g. If scroll the wheel slowly, without releasing my finger, as much as possible, it will change the zoom level by 60-70%. So that is 6-7 steps of scrolling.
But If I'm doing same thing faster, Vivaldi skips most steps and changes the zoom by 10-20%.
Tried with Vivaldi 1.5.658.44 and 1.6.682.3 (32 bit).

I'v also tried same with other browsers - Opera, old Opera, Firefox, etc. none of them had such a problem. So everything with my mouse is fine.

For me it is a significant drawback...
I hope that developers know about this problem and will fix it an the next version.
Because Ctrl + Mouse Wheel zoom is a very important feature and only in Vivaldi browser its broken.

The zoom slider in the lower right should be a tad longer. It's a pita when you want to zoom +/- 5% but it jumps in/out sometimes more than 15% to 20%.

I am not seeing that here. It zooms by 10% for each click of the mousewheel.

Vivaldi (exactly the same scrolling)
1 movement: zoom 100-110%
2 movement (after a few seconds): zoom 110-100%
