Mailto: this extension works well but sometimes BAD. this extension opens your webmail when you do click in an email address on a webpage

I've just tried using Google Chrome Web Store, and I'm surprised that every single extension that I've installed in Vivaldi is working perfectly.
Well… Perfectly is a big word.
Anything that affects the UI doesn't work properly, say the go button extensions (both the omnibox and the toolbar ones) aren't working at all.

And which almost certainly will be built in here. In reading some of these posts, I was suddenly struck by how absolutely refreshing it is to now have hope that essential features will be incorporated into the browser once again, rather than be told not to ask for them, since there's some extensions somewhere that theoretically should do the job… after 2 years, there's again light breaking through the darkness.

100% agreed.

My excellent PDF viewer is not working the built in simple one is. Would prefer mine, out of browser.

I have the same situation with the Nitro and Foxit pdf plug-ins on my system. They show in the plug-ins page and you can pretend to "enable" them, but they don't really work. The built-in Chrome pdf plug-in does work. It's only a guess, but it may be one of the "rough edges" still in the Tech Preview versions.

FB Purity works well, download from google or fbpuriti.com, it manages facebook to not show stupid things like People you know or related news

Once released Vivaldi the new browser, and applies sidebar panel, Opera released the Sidebar extensions. It should have the same purpose to sidebar panel.

A good translator extension? in these beta versions of vivaldi without extension bar I use TransOver but in 64 bit PC this extension only translates 1 line so I need a full translator.
in 32 bit netbook TransOver works well and translates all lines but in 64 bit PC not! -
A good translator extension?
I just tried out ImTranslator and Google Translate and both seem to work for me in 32-bit Vivaldi on 32-bit Win7 (but I didn't have time to try them on 64-bit Win7).
I think both can translate full webpages, but that probably requires a Tool Bar button that is not yet supported by Vivaldi. Otherwise, both can be set to automatically pop up a bubble with a translation of highlighted text. Google Translate seemed to only work for a word or short phrase, but ImTranslator seemed to handle a long paragraph very well.
I also like the behavior of ImTranslator better: a small bubble appears next to highlighted text which you can click on for a translation, but it can easily be disregarded if you're trying to highlight the text for a different reason (e.g., to copy). Google Translate automatically pops up a large box with a translation of the highlighted text and obscures everything behind it. It also appears ImTranslator's settings are more comprehensive and customizable.
So of those two, ImTranslator clearly appears better to me. (By the way, I think ImTranslator may be based on Google's translation engine, but adds a better UI and controls.)

Thank you gdveggie, ImTranslator extension works well in 64bit Win7 PC (that is my difficult case), I tested it in 32bit Win7 netbook and worked well too.
I don`t recommend you to test anything in 64bit Win7 because 95% of my found bugs were in this OS, keep in 32 bit Win7 and you will be happy.
