Feature requests for 1.6

In Chrome if I have selected on page some stuff, and then go to print dialog, I can choose, as option, print only selected items... This very handy in some cases.... In Vivaldi, which have mostly identical print dialog as in Chrome, curently this option not exist...
So.. let us print only selected.

You can already do this. Use the System Print Dialogue. To get there, use shortcut Ctrl + Shift + P. You cannot choose "selection" if you go via the Vivaldi Print Dialogue.

Please add the following functions:

• Downloading:

1. View the download speed, add sound or other indication when the download is complete.
2. Better Download manager (something like Bookmarks manager) inside Speed dial's top bar.
3. Warning when you try to close the browser when is running download on background.

• Panels:

4. The option to customize webpanel icons field (background color, size, etc.).
5. Add the possibility to catch and move the icons on Webpages panels and extension icons.
6. The possibility of placing the panels up and down, not just left and right.
7. More options for Web panels (show adress, set zoom, set value of separate wide).
8. Some extensions also make available for web pages located on Web panel (block advertisements in YT videos for example).
9. Add Sesion manager to the panel.
10. Add History manager to the panel.

• Extensions:

11. More option for right click on Extension icons, not only Hide button.
12. The option to customize icon extension field (background color, size, etc.).
13. Add the possibility to catch and move the extension icons.
    Speed Dial:
14. Make controls (mouse gestures) for folders fast access (currently for the return of the folder you need to click on <<*Name Floder).
15. Customize speed dial Thumbnails and Folders.

• Security:

16. Export complete user profile (settings, bookmarks, webpages in panels, themes, background pictures, notes, paswords etc.) It would also as a backup. (I do not think the synchronization feature, because not everyone wants to keep their data on servers, but a full backup of your profile).
17. Hotkey or mouse gesture to Hide or Minimize browser.
18. Better History manager (something like Bookmarks manager) inside Speed dial's top bar.
19. Portable version.
20. Add option to lock the notes. To prevent against accidental erasure.
21. Possibility to mark all items at once, for cleaning private data

• Pages:

22. In Tile pages concurrently scrolling of all pages in the keeping of certain keyboards etc.
23. Add controls +/- on zoom in status bar (by moving the slider to set the desired values it is not as accurate and fast).

• Other:

24. Supplement icons such as cut, paste, copy, zoom in, zoom out, clear private data etc.
25. Pop-up windows for YouTube videos

@Pesala On Windows at least, "Selection only" is under "More settings" if you right-click on the page and choose "print". It's even already checked (if you made a selection on the page). It doesn't show up though when using ctrl + p though. Some context must get lost when using the keyboard shortcut. Ctrl + shift + p just opens the system print dialog (where "selection" is of course there).

You know, like in Opera allow you to disable website malicious javascripts that altering how we access the website?

1. No more invisible wall that trigger unwanted popups when we click on webpage.

2. Why cant we select/search text on website?

3. Browser context menu should works on all element, including embedded "media player". Most custom menu from media player are useless, we don't really need 'em. Maybe "Alt + R.click" for browser menu?

Disabled javascript will work most of the time, but fuddling with javascript on/off all the time isn't a good experience.

It is very weird. It worked two days ago. Today it doesn't work anymore. I don't know whether YouTube changed something or whether it is to do with the recently updated Vivaldi 1.5. The icon for YouTube Plus settings (the plus with the arrow) has disappeared and the videos start to stream automatically. Back to square one.
For me this is another confirmation that extensions are rubbish. The funcionality has to be within the browser. Everything else can work, but in my experience most of the time it doesn't.

When an update comes out for the Windows version, the thing pops up when you open the browser (ie. right when you're trying to do something else) and asks if you want to update now, later or never. It would be really handy to have an option for "as soon as I exit the browser", because every single time the same thing happens to me: I see the update notice, I think "Oh, I'll do that when I'm done here." then I do whatever I came to do, close the browser, and see the update notice again for just enough time to think "Shit, I meant to do that." Then I have to open the browser again and wait for it to pop back up.

Better still, give us the option to download the update in the background and install it when the browser closes.
