Feature requests for 1.6

Last one, reposting in the right place. I'll shut up now.
Right now in speed dial you can ask to open all the items in a folder but they all come out as separate tabs. I often find myself then dragging them all into a stack and then tiling the stack. It would be good to have a couple more right-click items in the speed dial folders:
- open all bookmarks
- open all in a tab stack
- open all in a tiled tab stack
- delete
-
1.6 should introduce smooth tab opening and closing animations. This may not be very utilitarian, but it gives nice polish to the UX.
-
1.6 should allow the Start Page bar (across the top of the page, where Speed Dial folder titles are shown) to be semi-transparent. Right now, unless I'm missing something, it's always white with no other options.
-
Double-click tab bar to open a new tab.
-
One great simple step for security, and one I imagine is not too hard, is to integrate HTTPS Everywhere in Vivaldi.
-
Enable web panels access over quick command.
When I have web panel with "Google Translate", I should be able to access this web panel by typing by "Google translate" into quick access.
-
When you have multiple Windows open and want to move a tab or group, it gets hard to distinguish just by the amount of open tabs.
It would be great to be able to name Windows. -

So, if you truly CARE about others, why not just post a reply in the first place and answer my question (...)
Because somebody else has already answered your question?
@RRR13 said in Feature requests for 1.6:
If it's a question (not a rhetorical one), it's best to answer it if you have an answer, don't you think?
Yes, but how does this relate to my post? I replied to the post in which you said that "you think you're correct" (about Vivaldi standalone being portable), not the one in which you asked your "technical" question (since it was answered already by that time), also pointing out that this isn't even the right place to ask such questions (not to mention posting unnecessary, uncalled or trivial comments), because it makes this topic messy. And then - out of nowhere - you started your pitiful tirade about "acting superior", about some imaginary "god complex" (that only you seem to be familiar with) and generally being rude.
In my opinion there's no point in talking with someone who is impolite or maybe excessively self-oriented, or maybe oversensitive about their ego - so please forgive me for ignoring the rest of your comment...

Allow dragging of elements on "start page" to subfolders.
-
On "Start Page" if you add an item, allow selecting from your bookmarks especially folders. Makes it a lot more easy and intuitive.
sorry have seen that this is a duplicate of @pafflick s request Feature requests for 1.6:

That answer was posted AFTER my legitimate question was downvoted for no legitimate reason. Problems following the timeline?
You've missed the fact, that I replied to your second post after @Stardust replied to your first post (who's not keeping up with the timeline now?). Then you asked me, why haven't I answered your question from your first post. To which I replied, that somebody else already did that and thus I replied to the second one. Why should I repeat after @Stardust? Problems with using a common sense?
Oh, and don't bother answering the last question. It's a rhetorical one.
(You're good by the way, you've made me actually laugh now...

@RRR13 I use the extension, but it would just be nice to have it natively and save a bit on CPU. Maybe with that effort, it will be a standard native feature in most browsers, who knows. I know Brave browser already has it integrated.

Quick Command need Infotip for Tab Title & URL when Mouse-over an Item in drop-down list
Currently the Quick Command is pretty useless when i use it to search for opened tab, because the Title & URL display within the textbox is too short. My suggestion is showing Infotip with complete Title/URL when hightlighting/mouse-over an item with incomplete Title/URL.

Please, add zooming in web panels. It is rather critical on Hi-Res monitors.
-
@jacekn this system (with forum) is not correctly suitable for that kind of thing...
possibly if I he use a list, but not simple post... -
Show thumbnails for folders in Speed Dial
Show thumbnails of the pages contained in a folder in the Speed Dial. This would make a lot more visual the use of folders in the Speed Dial.
-
Show folders in Speed Dial as overlay instead of separate page
When you click on the folder at the Speed Dial, the content should show as an overlay. If you click on a page, it navigates to it. If you click outside, it returns back to the main page of the Speed Dial.
-
Possibility to change zoom in web panels
-
Possibility to set EXACT number of Speed Dial columns, like it was on Opera 12 and earlier.
I generally use Vivaldi maximized and the positions of my Speed Dial items I remember visually (on 5 column layout). But the number of Speed Dial columns can be reduced by opened Web Panel or if the windows is not maximized. That makes hard to find desired links. It could be more comfortable if the whole layout will be fitted in the page size.

Feature to allow tab stacking by selecting multiple tabs only (to disable tab stacking via drag and drop).
Generally I have lot of tabs opened and very often when I click on a tab I'm accidentally stacking it with the next one. Moving tabs also is a little bit hard with many opened tabs, because I need to carefully aim before dropping it to avoid stacking.
