Flash PPAPI installation not recognized
-
Hi, i am new to vivaldi, wanted to try other browser. Unfortunately i am not able to get flash recognized. Have Win7 Pro 64 bit Vivaldi 1.4.589.38 (32-Bit) Flash Player 23 PPAPI and NPAPI (23.0.0.185) Installed flash (yes, the chromium one) like three times, set vivaldi as standard browser, dont know what to try. Vivaldi shows no flash plugin at vivaldi:plugins Any hints? Really would like to try out other Browser, but its quiet demanding/bothering already...

How can i find out?
-
Hi, it is listed in > Help > About menu.
Cheers, mib

thx; at vivaldi://about is written:
Flash (Deactivated)but at the plugins site it is not listed:
vivaldi://plugins ( 2):
Widevine Content Decryption Module - Version: 1.4.8.903
Chromium PDF Viewer (2 files) -
Check if it's really installed, from control panel, check if you have "Adobe Flash Player 23 PPAPI", in any case try uninstalling it.
Then get the full installer here
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/download/?installer=FP_23_for_Opera_and_Chromium_-_PPAPI&os=Windows 7&browser_type=KHTML&browser_dist=Chrome&dualoffer=false&mdualoffer=true&stype=2729&d=McAfee_Security_Scan_Plus&d=Intel_True_Key&standalone=1You should have it in
C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil32_23_0_0_185_pepper.dll -
Thank you!
That was the right hint: I didnt know where to search to verify installation of flash.
Found there a FlashUtil64_23_0_0_185_pepper.dll
seems that adobe automatically served me the x64 version, there was no moment to choose…
so solution was obvious... get flash 32, or what i did, i installed vivaldi x64 and everything is running -
