Will valid criticism of the browser be censored here?

I was a long time Opera user even after things when screwy over there with Opera 15. I used to browse the Opera blogs and those blog articles allowed for discussion about the Opera browser. Lots of times I would see good comments asking when the new Opera would be available on Linux, or pointing out serious problems with it like its busted bookmarks, or something good like that, get deleted! Will that happen here? Will criticism of the Vivaldi browser be allowed here without commenters getting perfectly good comments deleted or otherwise being subjected to censorship?

Really doubt that, don't see any reason for the forums if they were going to just express positive thoughts here, sometimes stuff doesn't work and criticism can lead to fixing the problem.

Opera Blogs I have no control over, but in the forums I only delete stuff that violates the TOS or rules (no swearing, no spam, no flooding or crossposting) or would close threads that were duplicates or "flame bait" (intending to start an argument). Naturally I can't claim the other mods or staff did things the same - but I'm pretty sure the mods did.
I'd say if you find a difference between there and here, it will be because users here will tend to be more friendly to the product so there will be fewer posts calling the developers names and such.

You misunderstood something. Blog posts about new releases are not for discussions about the browser. They are for discussions about that particular release, bugs in it, new features, etc.
If you want to discuss other things, like then-missing Linux version, you should use the forums.

Hello,
To be clear about the Linux comments, they were mostly useless and off-topic… that's a Linux user who say that.
Maybe there was too much censorship on the other things, I don't know, but I prefer upvote system for usefull comments.
An upvote system can HighLight the most requested things.
