Entire black window on Acer Aspire One
-
On my "Acer Aspire One" (bought in 2012) Vivaldi never worked, as the window was entirely black. It could "control" it though, as clicking onto the top right still closes it. Tried this with version 1.2, with 1.3, and after updating to 1.4 today there was no change. Is there an essential requirement for Vivaldi's engine that could be missing on my system? How can I find out? Is there a parameter I can add to circumvent something (i.e. hardware acceleration)? You could try running Vivaldi using the –disable-gpu flag. Just edit your Vivaldi shortcut and add at the end of Target textbox a space and --disable-gpu.

That is the solution - can now see the GUI and use it. Thanks.
