Ten years of making new friends by building a browser for you, not Big Tech

@Jorisbo, sad to read. Yes, the possibilities of Vivaldi are far away from all other browsers and certainly can overhelm new users. But if you scroll through the settings, you'll see that they are pretty intuitive, only, this, there are many.
But they also permits to customize Vivaldi 100% to your likes and needs, between a bare browser with only the basics to an Dashboard of an Space Shuttle, all is possible, you can hide all the buttons and features you don't need easy in the settings (nobody here need all of these). This is precisely the advantage of Vivaldi, that you can adjust it just to your like, all of it is optional.
It is worth taking a little time and playing somewhat with the settings, all of them can be undone with a click if you do not like it, and you will quickly end up with the Vivaldi that is really yours then, without the need to be an IT expert.
Apart of this, we are here in the Forum to help if there are doubts or problems with it.

@Jorisbo I'm not sure if you are aware that Vivaldi can be setup with just the bare minimum options and leave out all the bells and whistles for later time to come? Please see Getting started with Vivaldi for the first time

Congratulations to everyone @Team_Vivaldi
Like some others here in the comments, I decided to try out Vivaldi because I'm looking for European alternatives for my software (and Firefox recent terms of use hickup was one to many trust issues that I have had with Mozilla), and Vivaldi was recommended by someone on Mastodon.
My previous browsers were more aggressive in privacy and tracker blocking but so far I'm not disappointed with Vivaldis own built-in tracker blocker! Really dig that the company is employee owned and your philosophy on privacy and a healthy web is one I can really get behind! Also very cool that you run your Mastodon instance
Looking forward to browsing with Vivaldi

Congratz and thanks for making Vivaldi!

I'm relatively new to Vivaldi but I am loving it. Also, coming to Vivaldi from Ch*ome (Trying not to say dirty words, LOL!) will definitely let somebody see how .... traumatizing it has been online using that browser and a couple of others. Especially if the person has worked and socialized on the web a good bit of the time! (Please don't be like all the others. Stay original, keep your moral compass intact and remember joining the fray to grab people's info is more nerve wracking than just earning a loyal base).
Thank you for looking out and Happy 10th! -
@3dvs: Me too. Can't believe its been 10 years already
