Cloud / File Hosting services

Hi everyone,
Since my student account is about to expire and I am looking for alternative places to host my private documents and photos, I am wondering what the Vivaldi community recommends.
I am considering price and security as main deciding factors. The GB/TB space is also important, though I do not really need much. As I said, mainly documents and personal stuff.

Hello @pchalkley
I personally use Proton because they have end-to-end and zero-knowledge encryption.
I found a couple of reviews of different online storage services:
- https://www.tomsguide.com/buying-guide/best-cloud-storage
I hope that helps.
Regards,
Fred D. -
Thanks guys

@pchalkley Sync. Like Proton (which I also use) it has end-to-end and zero-knowledge encryption. But limited to 5GB for free storage, like Proton. But you can get a bit more by completing some free tasks and by referral. In my case, I use for backup of documents only, so the space is fine.
The cheapest paid tier is $5/month billed annually for 200 GB.

Cloud services are a risk of data-loss if you do not store your data on a extra external drive or local Network Storage (NAS).
Cloud storage providers exclude themselves by legal terms from being responsible for dataloss.
