The link in the [(https://vivaldistatus.com)] page actually only points to the Vivaldi.com site where you'd have to search for the the real link to get to vivaldi status site.
All you have to do is scroll down and link to "Vivaldi browser services" area.
I know you have more pressing issues at this time but this is just going around in circles for any new user.

@greybeard No! The link is correct. I can go straight to the status page.

Oh well... If everyone is getting there it must be something at my my end.
It is not a biggie and you guys have more to handle.
I have a link to the Status page on my Speed Dial so I'm not worried about me.
For newer users, if they have the same issue, it may be confusing.

@greybeard What link are we even talking about?

There's only one obvious link there, this one:
                    468f93b1-8f83-4211-893a-de2cc0dc703c-image.png
This links to vivaldi.com - where else should it link to?

Then there's links to all the services if you hover over their titles.

                    At the bottom of
                    https://vivaldi.com
There is a link to the Status page:

To me it says it's a link to "the availability of Vivaldi's online services." That means, in my mind, a direct link to "https://vivaldistatus.com/" not having to scroll through a page to find the Status Link.
I know the link is there, just not as described. It's semantics, but it could be important to a visually impaired user in my opinion.

Let us just agree to disagree and remain friends. 🤝

@greybeard There's no disagreement, but in your post you said:

The link in the https://vivaldistatus.com page actually only points to the Vivaldi.com site where you'd have to search for the the real link to get to vivaldi status site.

When you're already on the Vivaldi Status site, there's no point linking to itself?

I agree that the link on the vivaldi.com site is hard to find hidden away on the bottom of the page. They probably should link to it on the top of the page.

Check the status and availability of Vivaldi's online services.

That is misleading as text says user could check the status by link in the line.
User brain could connect text and link to Check the status and availability of Vivaldi

I do not know why this backlink is in there.
