Flash player (SOLVED)

That was why I updated …
It i a shame Mageia has no pepper Flash package nor even a Chrome package, forcing me to go to Google to download the full Chrome package just to have the current version of Flash. (They do have a package for npapi Flash of course.)

This one crashes like mad!

Debian has it as a standalone .deb package, so there has to be some way to get it.
BTW, someone earlier in this thread said that the updated flash player probably only works in Chrome-based browsers. That was true up until recently: someone actually wrote a wrapper for it and it works pretty well now. In fact, I'm even using Pepper Flash player in Firefox and Opera 12.16 right now.

I am running 32bit Linux Mint on one of my PCs. There is no 32bit package in the Ubuntu repository but I downloaded the Debian package from https://packages.debian.org/sid/i386/pepperflashplugin-nonfree/download and installed it.
This should work for anyone using a 32bit Debian based distro. It will, of course, need to be manually updated when necessary because the distro's package manager will not update it.
