No "Continue running background apps" option? Needs to be added.

Here's the problem. Vivaldi, just like Google Chrome, allows the user to disable running background apps by clicking an option in context menu of an icon. But while Google Chrome has an option called "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed" in advanced settings - Vivaldi does not. So once you disable running in background for Vivaldi - it's irreversible at this point. At least for stable version.

Go to vivaldi://settings/search#a, scroll down almost entirely to the bottom, see the System section, untick "Continue running background apps when Vivaldi is closed".

Actually you have to type chrome not vivaldi (and might as well search for the string directly)

chrome://settings/search#backgroundWorked like a charm. THX a lot.
Some people may think twice about disabling this option BTW. At least on laptops and PCs with not much processing power. When I did it, it often caused my system to slow down when closing Vivaldi and once even crashed the desktop. It's safer to just leave it turned on.
