What worked for me was the following steps:

Use google maps to find the GPS coordinates of your current address. In my case, it was my home. Navigate to https://www.hulu.com In the tab for https://www.hulu.com, follow the instructions in this thread to opened the sensors tab within the developer pane and clicked the manage button Create a new row in the table, called "Home", enter your GPS coordinates and timezone. After entering the new row, click the "x" icon in the upper right hand corner of the developer pane. This will take you back to the sensors tab. Select "Home" next to the Manage button and refresh the page and hulu should work.

Der Tipp funktioniert unter Linux Ubuntu leider (natürlich) nicht.

Same behavior for me, with the momentum extension. I'd just ignore it if it didn't also grab keyboard focus away from the address bar.

I set the chrome setting to always block, and also tried restarting the browser. Neither helped. What did help was turning off the weather widget in momentum's settings.

The best solution to the profile location problem is to install Vivaldi as a standalone
installation in the location where I wanted my profile to be.

Problems with shortcut parameters, Unnecessary registry editing, ...etc are all avoided
now.

The key solution to this problem is that Vivaldi can be set as a default web browser in
a standalone installation, otherwise this solution wouldn't be possible.
