Clicking on the current tab in existing window moves the tab to a new window
-
@AN4LYST Confirmed, no dev assigned, no fix yet.
-
Thank you for the quick response. Can we make this issue a higher priority?
-
@AN4LYST No, we have no influence on importance of a bug.
-
Ok, thanks
-
@AN4LYST When there exists a workaround, the bug does not get high priority for a fix.
Workaround you can get the tab out of a group by context menu or by move in Window Panel.
-
How do you get a tab in a group then because trying to move a tab into a group causes the same issue and i dont see a workaround for that.
-
Hi, does anyone else has this issue? It started to me a week ago, but not sure if it's related to MacOS Sonoma updates, or browser. It's happening only on mac, when I click mouse on tab to activate it immediately moves to new window, that's very annoying
-
I also have the same issue on MacOS
-
yeah pretty annoying bug, so far the only workaround that I found is moving the tabs to the bottom
-
Has there been any resolution of this bug?
The impact to user experience is unacceptable... -
@AN4LYST said in Clicking on the current tab in existing window moves the tab to a new window:
when you hold a tab and move it vertically, Vivaldi opens it as a new window
if you drag a tab outof tab-bar, it will into a new window. It's a featuer not a bug.

This wasn't funny. Anyway that was enough time I think. Couple months? Anyway there are many great options out there guys you do not wait this hopeless thing
-
Any news? I noticed it only happen when I connect to external monitor.
-
This still happens regularly for me and is easily replicable. Why does this have no resolution. the UX is heavily effected by this bug.
-
@geduxazz Same for me. Only happens on external monitors
-

This is super annoying bug please take care of it.

Any update?
