Regression fixes and UI improvements – Vivaldi Android Browser snapshot 3252.3

By the way, this is not the only way to designate https. You can color the background of the omnibox in different colors: green if the connection is secure, yellow if mixed content, red if http, orange if the certificate has errors but the connection is possible. You can add, for example, dark green if the connection uses tls1.3 and ECH. A separate color if QUIC is used. Color indication is a handy thing! -
@Zalex108
Try moving the omnibox up and try it that way. -

Yes,
I like that too, easier to understand + less work regarding icons and reallocate things. -
Please restore Home button onto its own place (Nav toolbar).
I miss it deadly!
And I don't want the Address bar on the bottom, so have no ability to get Home button there as well.

I just reinstalled the latest snap cleanly. Didn't synchronize, didn't log in to any site, didn't change anything in the settings, didn't change anything in the flags, no adblock list enable. Everything is default.
The result is on the screenshot. -
Nice Minis
So,

?
Usually Pixels and Newest Android / iOS versions seem to have few more bugs.

@far4
I ask this before but forgot, do you change Android font size, do you use accessibility settings? -
@mib2berlin
Yeah, sure, I always do.
I wouldn't be able to work on my smartphone with its long and narrow screen without using zoom everywhere, all the time.
This applies to both the browser interface scale and my default web page scale setting.But this test installation is clean - everything is default.
Did I understand your question correctly: it refers to the browser? Not the system-wide font settings in the firmware?

This is what I meant, on MIUI 13 default is S, if you change to XS or XXL Vivaldi get problems.
There is a flag to solve this for some user, I have to search and add it here later.EDIT: Enable chrome://flags/#enable-accessibility-page-zoom

@mib2berlin
Unfortunately, it doesn't help.
Yes, I have the minimum font size set to XXS. -
@far4
I bet this cause the glitch, you should have cropping issues with Youtube videos in full screen too.
Iirc Chromium does the same on YT so Vivaldi cant fix this. -
Looks like you won the bet!
I checked on Cromite and Kiwi - the picture on YT is also reduced and shifted there. -
@mib2berlin: absolutely agree.
-
