WordPress Blogs can now be followed in the Fediverse with the ActivityPub plugin
-
Automattic and WordPress design engineer, Matt Wiebe, recently announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the ActivityPub plugin has released its version 1.0. This new release allows WordPress blogs to be followed within the Fediverse, a decentralized network that powers services like Mastodon, once the plugin is activated. The integration also enables replies from the Fediverse to be received back as comments on the WordPress blog.

With this plugin, Wordpress will apparently become even more integrated into the Fediverse. I should try it out when I get the chance.
