Can't change safe search settings on Bing.com

Whenever I try to change the safe search settings on Bing.com they don't stay. I have vivaldi for the desktop, and it works just find. I've checked cookie settings, I have "all cookies" enabled so it accepts all cookies. Didn't work. Clear cache and data? Nope. Uninstall and reinstall? Nope.

Firstly you must understand clearing the history in your web browser doesn’t clear the history stored on the Bing server.
If you are logged into Bing (or goofle, facebuck, yahoo) you must login to the respective account and go to their privacy or activity page. The link for Bing is below as that is what you are interested in.https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/activity-history
Perhaps "private browsing" may be a better option as (supposedly) searches aren’t stored by default in that mode.
Also you may have to repeat with any other browsers you use, although my thinking is that you shoudn't. (Edge may be different (?). Not sure.)
