When auto-filling login page crashes
-
This happens consistently with certain sites. I think (but not sure) happens when the login info is in a pop-up window. The browser suggests to auto-fill the login, and proceeds to log me in (as opposed to auto-filling the login info and me having to press the login button). Then the page crashes ("oh snap" error message, with an option to reload the page.
To avoid the issue I have to reject the auto-login, and input the login manually and then press login. It would have been better if the browser would just auto-fill instead of trying (and failing) to auto-login. -

Hi, it does not happen on my recent sites so we need a bit of information:
Vivaldi and Android version, device and links to such sites.
If other user can reproduce it you can make a bug report and the developer can fix this.Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin
Vivaldi Browser 6.1.3035.110
Android 13; Pixel 4 XL Build/TQ2A.230505.002One example: https://portal.assetzexchange.co.uk/log-in
Can't find another one right now, but I'm pretty sure this want the only one, I'll return with another example because I appreciate you wouldn't have a login to this site -

Hi, this is hard to reproduce without accounts for other user or the developer.
Is this working with other Chromium browser like Opera or Brave?
I guess Chrome is working.
You can make a bug report, Vivaldi should not crash.
Maybe wait a bit if other user can confirm this or report. For information on how to report a bug, see this URL: https://help.vivaldi.com/article/report-a-bug-in-vivaldi-android/
Once that is done, please share the bug number (beginning with VBA-). Thanks.
On the form, you can add your email address. Once submitted, you'll get a confirmation. You can reply to this with any logs or further info.Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin Understood, thanks. I tried with Chrome and Brave and there's no such issue, so I suspect a bug with Vivaldi. I will see if it happens on a more widely used site so you can check more easily otherwise I can file a bug report

It happened with interactivebrokers.co.uk as well
