Lastpass stopped working correctly?

It used to work but recently since an update or something it seems to be no longer able to retrieve usernames and passwords from the vault and thinks it has none when I search in its popup window. I am able to see the saved logins in the vault and if I right click them I can copy the username and password, but this is not a permanent solution.
Has anyone been able to fix this? Its making me consider moving back to either firefox or chrome where i've tested lastpass still works.

Hi, it seems you both are the only user report this since Vivaldi 6.0 and we have many Lastpass user.
I guess this is not the only extension you use, I would disable all, restart Vivaldi and enable only the Lastpass extension.
To really test this you need a clean test profile, create one, close all tabs, change and install nothing except Lastpass, test.Cheers, mib

Good point, have just done this via making a clean test profile, making sure no extensions where installed. closed everything, downloaded lastpass and logged in. Sadly this error still happens. I really wonder what's changed. I'm hoping there's a setting we just need to toggle or something.

Hi, I guess you should report this to the Vivaldi bug tracker, I cant test this but the Vivaldi team have a Lastpass account for sure.

@mib2berlin Thank you for the suggestion, I understand your viewpoint and the procedure, but the nonsense is that it was working perfectly before and past many, many updates, with the same setup, and suddenly stopped after updating to the new version, and I need it woking on this profile, as before, not on an empty profile.

@MTVento my solution after several tries , is not a vivaldi problem, in the LP Vault
i had to switch it several times off,close browser , restart ... after some tries it works -

Hi, an extension can break anytime, different Chromium version or something.
Test this in a clean profile is to verify it is Vivaldi+Lastpass extension and not Vivaldi+Latspass+10 other extensions or a broken profile.

I just noticed it's working now. I saw there was an update yesterday evening. Seems they have fixed whatever the issue was.
