Is the great suspender still relevant in Vivaldi?
-
Hello. The great suspender is no more needed in Chrome, cause Chrome suspends tabs by itself. Does Vivaldi support same feature?

Hello.

Nope. After several hours every tab (about 30) was still active. At least resource monitors (both Vivaldi and Win10) said so. I left it for a night, and in the morning it had no changes in useing resources.

Did you right-click on a tab and select "hibernate background tabs?"
If you start with a prior session, all but the active tab are automatically hibernated. You can't prevent that. Once you wake a tab up, you can hibernate it individually or en masse.

Yes, it works. But I told about auto hibernating in current session. Without clicking or reopening browser. So, this function is not presented. Will it be in new versions?

Numerous additional options will be available in the future. They are being added at the pace of about one new feature or option per week. Since the end of January, 2015, I have counted over 80 user requests that have been fulfilled. That said, there are at least a couple of THOUSAND unique requests outstanding, so it's difficult to say when/whether a given feature or option will appear. We do know that we will be getting more control over tab hibernation. That's all we know.
