definitely remove the inactivity timing for real or long time users?

hello
Id like to know why/how the inactivity period is down from few years to six months?it could be very nice and interesting to keep account over two years : thats what gafamnt are doing.
Plus, people have mainly several emails (only one is very unadvised) for different purposes : administration emails, commercial emails, family, friends, and even services providers.I saw more than 1 ip-hone blocked on icl-oud because "it's stuck on my old email, whom has been deleted, and I cannot recover it" ; the same for bank account or others account, linked to a phone number whom has been changed, or to somebody either dead since months, working abroad or simply concerned by a serious and long-period of disease...
why cell phone verification doesnt bring this time counter to few years, or even forever?
French Free company ISP provide emails accounts of 10GB forever.
the same for ikme
would be very appreciated for people really using their emails, to let more than few years to access their emails, especially if they are linked to sensitive or necessary services !I thakn you for reading and taking this in consideration

@harrollld
are you refering to the mail client? or the vivaldi webmail service? because you posted in the section of the mailclient and so your post didn't make sense to me -

The OP may be referring to an account that becomes inactive.

@harrollld You should receive two emails to your recovery email account before it is deactivated. Services are free to the user, but not free to Vivaldi. If users are no longer using their email account, then it makes sense to deactivate it.

With a Vivaldi account you get access to a lot of services - Sync, Vivaldi Social, Forum, Blogs, Themes and Webmail. If you log in to any of these services at least once every 6 months your account is considered active.

It's actually three emails now (Help article updated).
