Unable to load gmail.com on Vivaldi

Hi,

I'm facing a strange problem since the last few days. Gmail.com seems to not load on Vivaldi on my Windows 10 laptop. It seems to load perfectly fine in Chrome or Edge browsers.

Any ideas what could be causing this?
I get this error:

This site can’t be reached
The connection was reset.

@Bez Hm. I can't reproduce this in any of my several Vivaldi instances on several machines. I'll have to think on it.

Do you use any kind of proxy or VPN? Do you have Vivaldi set to use system proxy? Do you allow Vivaldi to use DNS to find website connections?

I'm not using a VPN or a proxy.
As for the DNS I'm not sure how to check that. This is a screenshot of the only settings I can find that mention DNS:

@Bez You have DNS enabled. That is your best bet.

Sometimes, for reasons I do not quite understand, clearing your browser cache fixes this.

Do you run any kind of 3rd party security software?

@Ayespy I have Kaspersky Internet Security installed

I just tried clearing browser cache but no change.

Also in case it's relevant. I get the error almost instantly. It's not like it tries to connect to gmail.com and then after a while it fails. It's pretty much instant.

Update: Really strange but using mail.google.com instead of gmail.com seems to work. (mail.google.com wasn't working before clearing cache).

Will update my bookmarks i guess.
