Why does Vivaldi not appear in Control Panel list of programs installed and Start Icon?
-
Vivaldi has been downloaded and installed ( Vivaldi 1.1.453.59 x64) but it is not showing up in my Control Panel as being installed. No icon appears on the Start Menu either. I have Windows 10 64bit

If you install it as a standalone, Windows will sometimes not register it. If you did a regular installation, it should be listed. Is it in the list of programs under control panel/programs and features?
For the vast majority of people who install it, it seems to register normally.
You might try uninstalling the 64-bit (which is less stable and more problematic than the 32-bit) and installing the recommended 32-bit. See what happens.

Thank you. I wasn't able to remove the hidden standalone 64 bit version. I downloaded a 32 bit over it and it shows up. I hope I like it.
