Backround Images Not Loading
-
Hello everyone, I've recently been using vivaldi and is going to make it my default web-browsers but as I was using it there seems to be a problem. I want to set a custom image for my backround but after exiting the application for a while, it removes the image and replaces it with my backround color. I've already tried to decrease the size of the image by half but that makes it so the image doesn't fit the screen. Does anyone have a solution to this? Also, I should have the latest version of Vivaldi.

I've tried changing from both Quick Settings and Theme Settings. But they do not work.

@Aambi
have you logged in sync? -
@Aambi Did you edit one of the default themes or hit the
New Theme
button?I think people have had problems with this when they edit a default theme.

@Aaron Sync is enabled

@Aambi What are the dimensions (px) of your display, and of the background image? And are you leaving the image in the exact same location it was when you selected it for your background? That is where the browser loads it from. It is not stored within the browser file structure anywhere.

@nomadic I've experienced no difficulty when editing a default theme.
-
@Aambi I suspect it was overwritten by synchronous data writeback. I only use the default theme though, not sure about that

@Aaron
Hi, themes are not synced, it must be something else.
Check vivaldi://sync-internals Data tab.Cheers, mib

@Ayespy Found the thread I was remembering.
It seems like creating a new theme instead of editing a default one solved the problem for most people.

I created a new them instead of using a default theme and it seems to be working. Thanks.
