Features worth adding

That is so awesome.
Thanks for pointing it out… it is feature that's more informative than OO...
I have taken some time to explore Vivaldi, added Ghostery, AdBlocker+, and to mess around with the interface. Vivaldi is a fine combo of new and old styles and features that is pretty darn cool.
I was none too happy when OO (Old Opera) bit the dust, but now I am thinking that that was an example of, "creative destruction," necessary for the next step in the evolution of this, this "unique approach" of OO's core team.
Thanks!

Thanks, I found it while messing around, too.
Is there going to be anything like the "View Bar?"I found the double-arrow feature next to the magnification slide on Vivaldi, but it lacks the "find," "cascade," and "class and ID" features available across the well-deployed "View Bar" in OldOpera. I find these to be effective tools well-deployed in their own toolbar.
EDIT
WOW. After using and enjoying studying the workings of Vivaldi I am really impressed. Most Everything in O12 is somewhere logical and even more effectively deployed (mostly) in Vivaldi!
The cascading control through tab stacking with the ability to easily save configurations through "saved sessions" is a real time-saver, and I believe makes the user more effective.Still can't find "class and id" feature, but I need a reason to keep O12 running as a backup browser.
Again, thanks for pursuing this granular approach to browsing.

Bookmarks icon in toolbar (like Opera used to have)
-
1. ability to drag & drop (and right click on) bookmarks inside of folders on Bookmarks Toolbar
2. folders on Bookmarks Toolbar open on hover (optionally?)
-
- ability to save in MHT, MAFF, or similar single file
i dunno why this is still active by flags, it should be a option in Config Menu.

+1 to that, quite why Vivaldi squirreled them away out of sight beats me.

You can open all links in a folder here, as well.
-
Right-click on a folder and select "open." There is also a setting under Settings/Bookmarks to give you to option to limit the number of bookmarks that can be opened at once, in case your system has limited memory or processing power, or both.

Ah. Yeah, Bookmark Manger, and Bookmark Panel, both. it works only for top level folders on the Bookmark Bar, but MANY of the functions for sub-folders on the Bookmark Bar are yet to be written, so they don't work yet. They are being gradually added, as developers get time.

The Vivaldi browser is great and I'm so close to replacing Chrome with it. The only thing I can think of that it needs is the ability to drag a tab off the window and create and new window with that tab. Then be able to snap that tab back onto the window it came from. I use multiple monitors for work and this feature is CRUCIAL for my job. You can right click and make this happen, but this is a browser for power users. This way takes time.
