How to open current page in Firefox from within Vivaldi
-
Hi everybody, I'm pretty sure this question was already asked but I cannot find any relevant topics about it in the archives. I installed Open in Firefox extension but when I click the button nothing happens. Can someone give me a clue on what to do about it? Many thanks in advance for any help. Cheers. Patrick

Never used it myself but just read the instructions, an external helper is needed, you must install it (in windows, not vivaldi)

Sorry but the external helper does not work. Did somebody else try it?

Time ago, there was "mozilla gecko tab" - which need - a standalone gecko engine installed. But it's not in store anymore, so I'm pretty sure won't work.
Or you can use "open in ietab", which simply add entries in contextual menu of vivaldi to open the link in other browsers (not only ie). The only annoying thing: if you have more than one firefox installed (like me: x32, x64, nightly x64) there isn't an option to choice what use. -

So do you have to pre-define which of the various FF builds 'ietab' will open for FF, does it just randomly pick one if you choose FF, or what?

@Blackbird: it chooses randomly one of your build (probably can be tweaked in extension files)
@Solutor: ops, I didn't see it XD however if it uses NPAPI it's gone -
