open links without an a tag not possible
-
A while ago it was possible to mark and open links within a text even if the link does not have an <a> tag.
I don't have this function in the context menu for a marked text. Is this entry from Vivaldi or from Android?

Is any information missing for an answer?

@enompado Sorry for the late reply. There has been an influx of posts might have been possible people missed out on your one. Sadly I think It's a device related issue as I haven't faced anything so far. You can always post a video regarding the problem so that it might be easier to reproduce on volunteer's side and list down your device with the version it's currently running for better understanding.

vivaldi.com
If I select the text above, I see Go to "http://vivaldi.com" on the context menu. If I select some random word, there is no corresponding option. So apparently they are trying to recognize whether or not text is a URL before showing the option, which implies there may be URLs it doesn't recognize.

I am missing the button in the context menu:
Is this missing button from Android or from Vivaldi? This information would help me.

There has been an inundation of posts could have been potential individuals passed up your one. Tragically I believe It's a gadget related issue as I haven't confronted anything up until this point. You can continuously post a video in regards to the issue so it very well may be more straightforward to recreate on volunteer's side and rundown down your gadget with the variant it's as of now running for better comprehension.

As I said, Vivaldi had that. And it looked like this:

Just checked, it works in Chrome but not in Vivaldi.
Tested on a Pixel 4a, Android 13.
I am also missing this function very much.
