Solved google calendar error.
-
Hello,
I can't log into and sync my google calendar.
I get the following error message:
Tried the many limited things that I know, which basically involves clearing cache and starting everything again, but still get the same message.
Many thanks

@grdnryn Hmm. I guess we have not tested that option properly. Need to look into this better.
One thing you could try in the meantime while we figure this out is to remove the account from Vivaldi and try to set it up again. Possibly also going to permission settings on Google website to remove Vivaldi access so that you will be requested to grant it again when setting up, this time allowing access to the task list.

@grdnryn Status code 403 suggests authorization error. Is it possible that your credentials are not correct? When setting up the account, did you get a popup dialog for login and successfully logged into account granting Vivaldi app access to your calendar?

@eggert I am trying to remember, but I am pretty sure that I did.
I did however elect not to tick on access to tasks (as I never use tasks on the google calendar, so thought this would be nbd), and I notice this message mentions task list.
But when trying again, I can't get to that pop up allowing me to select what to grant access too, instead this message comes up instantly. -

@eggert Thanks, removing the vivaldi access at google and trying again did the trick.
Clicked on tasks this time round and therefore had no problems. -
