Solved White Blank Screen on Editing a WordPress Page
-
Hey y'all, odd problem here. I'm trying to edit some pages on my WordPress blog, but every time I do, I get a blank, white screen.
This only happens in Vivaldi, as I could get to the page in Edge, and my host's support person could get there in Chrome. I'm therefore not sure why I'm having the issue only in Vivaldi. I searched the forums here and didn't find another post on this issue, sadly.
If y'all have any ideas on what I could do to fix this I'd be most appreciative. Thank you in advance for your time.

The team works with Wordpress and we have never had any problem. In fact, just today I did some translations and I didn't have any errors - so there are no similar entries.
I would like if you could please include screenshots, as well as specify which browser version you are using.
Mostly the first advice we give is to disable extensions, or directly test on a clean, new profile, with no cache/no data.

@RealMat0s Oh god I am so sorry I forgot to check in a private window. The editor DID load in a private window, so I guess I need to clear all cache and cookie data for my blog? If so how do I do that?
Thank you!

@brianrubin You probably don't need to do that. Most likely it's an extension causing this, as evidenced by it working in a Private windows (no extensions).
Please try the troubleshooting steps:
https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/troubleshoot/troubleshooting-issues/A good trick for clearing cache+cookies etc from only one site is click the Site Info icon (padlock), then Site Settings, then Clear Data. Saves you clearing all cache+cookies

So hilariously, I turned off all my extensions, and the page still wouldn't load.
So I tried to switch to a different theme in WordPress to see if that might get a different result.
Whole site broke.
So that's fun.

So FYI, if anyone else runs into this problem, for some reasing CTRL+Shift+R, a forced refresh, fixed the problem. No idea why, but hey it works now.
