Solved Translate any page
-
I may be missing something, but I don't find any menu item to translate the current tab. Is the functionality available somewhere?
Most foreign language webpages show the Translate indicator on the right-hand side of the address box. But not all.
In particular, when the webpage contains a fair amount of English, the Translate indicator isn't shown . . . Or I misunderstand how the decision is made.
[If this functionality isn't currently available and if the request isn't already posted, I'll recast this message as a feature request and post it to the suitable subforum. It's impossible to construct a perfect detector of language and so it's desirable to make the Translate function available through the menu.]

@ryofurue What I've done is added the translate option to the Edit menu, as well as the page context menu. This means I can "force" a translation even if the option doesn't show automatically.

@ryofurue Go to Settings, Appearance, Menu Customisation. Select the Page context menu, and add Translate Page from the list of Application Commands.
If this command does not show the Translate Icon in the URL field, reload the page (F5), then you should be able to click the icon to translate the page to the desire language.

@Pathduck @Pesala Thank you both for your help! Menu Customization is a perfect solution to this problem. I've inserted the function into the context menu of the webpage. It works!
Incidentally, I've just noticed "Translate Selection" in the context menu of a selected text. That's useful, too, of course.
