Middle click options?
-
Hello hello, Using the old Opera I used to be able to middle click a link and it would open a new tab in the foreground. I really liked that option. Seems in Vivaldi Middle click only opens link in a background tab? Can this be changed?

Not as yet. You have to right-click and select "open in new tab." Or, if you enable mouse gestures, you can right-click while swiping downward on a link and it will open in a new foreground tab.

No, but what's really nice is you can use mouse gestures to right click right over a link and slide down. This will open that link in a new tab. And you can use the middle button click to open in a new background tab. I think knowing this will give you both options.

You're looking for shift+middle click, that'll open a foreground tab.

Hello,
not sure if it's ok to revive this old thread, but, as of now, is there any possibility to open links in a new tab in foreground by middle-clicking them? -
@jimmyz No. Shift+Click; Right-click, Open in New Tab; or define a mouse gesture. I use GestureUp.

Thank you for the direct answer. I'm using mostly the touchpad, it would be convenient if just by tapping three fingers I could have imediatelly my new tab on sight.
Thanks again! -
