Disappearing Cursor in Twitter
-
When I select "Tweet" the text window opens and I see the cursor blink once and then disappear. I then have to click inside the text box before I begin typing. This also happens if I select "comment". This does not happen in Chrome.

@neadreport But if the cursor disappears, how are you able to click anywhere? Guessing?
Please try the troubleshooting steps first:

@pathduck Not the mouse cursor. The text cursor (or caret) that shows you were to begin typing.
-
@neadreport Well, I'm still not sure exactly what you mean. Have you enabled Caret Browsing?
A video might help explain it. I don't have Twitter so maybe better if someone who actually uses it cares to test
Have you gone through the troubleshooting steps?

"I don't have Twitter so maybe better if someone who actually uses it cares to test"
Agreed. Thanks.

@neadreport I can't replicate, I just replied to a tweet for testing and my text cursor/caret blinks normally as I type.
Pushed Tweet to create a new one, typing right after the button is pressed, cursor always in the text field, blinking normally, nothing strange.
Vivaldi 4.1.2369.10 / Chrome 92.0.4515.126 here.
Check which extensions you have, maybe disable them all, restart Vivaldi and retry. -
