Can't upload attachments to Gmail
-
There seems to be an issue when uploading files to Gmail, you get an "Attachment failed" error message which is very odd, it never happened before.
When you it try on FireFox, Gmail is working fine as usual, so the issue seems to be on the side of Vivaldi I am afraid,
Does anybody have any ideas? Tried turning off extensions, Incognito mode, and I am using the latest version available, 4.02312.41.
Thank you.

@guilarte I have exactly the same issue. Neither will Vivaldi let me upload attachments over Facebook Messenger. And I notice Amazon.co.uk no longer works properly (it's fine in Opera) but on Vivaldi, Amazon's CSS/Stylesheets isn't loading.
Any ideas what could be causing these problems? I thought it might be because I accidentally clicked 'Deny' to one of the ZoneAlarm alerts relating to Vivaldi a day or so ago. Now, when I click 'Check for Updates' in Vivaldi, it says "Update Error! Please check your internet connection", yet when I turn ZoneAlarm off, Vivaldi update works saying I'm up to date.
I've gone into ZoneAlarm and green-ticked all the Vivaldi entries I can find, but the problem still occurs. It could be a separate issue to uploading attachments, but it seems strange I'm getting all these problems all at once.

@guilarte Hello and Welcome to the Vivaldi Community
I never have problems uploading files to Gmail with Vivaldi. How are you attaching, drag+drop or file selector? How large are the files?
Please try the troubleshooting steps first:

@pathduck Hi, thanks for your reply, I have tried both ways, using drag and drop but also selecting the file from the folder after browsing for it.
I tried most of the things on the list, but I do need to check on the anti-virus status. I am afraid it needs updating, so I am hoping this will help somehow.

@guilarte And I failed to mention, I am trying with very small files, they are just a few Ks in size.

@jameskvo These are precisely the same error messages I am getting. Thank you for contributing this.

@guilarte Go to Settings > Privacy > Tracker and Ad blocking > Manage Sources, then disable and reenabled EasyList to update it and it should work again.

@doctorg Hi thanks for your reply.
I am afraid this didn't quite work for me, but it gave me the idea of tweaking with the tracker settings.
On the shield icon at the extreme left of the URL box, I have set it to "Block Trackers" for mail.google.com, and now it is once again working as expected for me.
I am a happy customer so,
Thanks to everyone who dropped a line here.

Disabling ad/tracker-blocking is on the troubleshooting list

@pathduck My apologies if I overlooked that! I thought I had tried, but obviously not in the right place.
My sincerest thanks for your help, because I found it really useful!
