Crashes when opening developer tools

Sorry to necro but I got a dev tools crash today on Ubuntu 19.04. Vivaldi version: 2.5.1525.48
Apparently this is still occasionally an issue.

Did you get a crashlog?
Can you reproduce this and send a bugreport?
Please read how to Report a bug for Vivaldi carefully and then report the bug to Vivaldi bugtracker.I've experienced this crash a couple more times, but I don't have any crashlogs, unless they are showing up somewhere other than
Crash Reports

This usually happens to me when I leave the computer unattended by some time.. It seems to happen regardless of windows being locked or not.
I'm not sure if it's related to leaving the computer unattended or just not using vivaldi.
I have the latest vivaldi version and updated windows and this happens on different computers.Note: I'm not sure if I had the devtools open before and it crashes after leaving the computer unattended for a while and opening dev tools again on another window/tab.

I seem to have the same symptoms. I haven't been able to find the pattern yet, and I don't get crash logs, but it only seems to happen after the browser has been open for a while. It happens almost once per day which gets really frustrating as a web developer.

Today I've experienced two similar crashes when hitting the "Print" shortcut (Ctrl+P). I'm starting to wonder if the problem is not exclusive to opening the dev tools.

@GyozaGuy Which Linux do you use?
What do you see if you start Vivaldi in shell (terminal, Konsole)?I'm running an up-to-date installation of Ubuntu 19.04 (upgraded from 18.10).
It took two days of running before it crashed, but I finally got it. Here is what shows up in my terminal when running from the command line: https://pastebin.com/nAnFR34x.
Interestingly, if I open the extension URL that is showing up all over the place (
chrome-extension://mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli/browser.html
), it opens a blank tab, and when I use the shortcut to open dev tools from that blank tab, a new dev tools window is opened each time instead of toggling the dev tools. If I close the first one, all of the others close as well. I'm assuming that extension is some internal Vivaldi thing, I checked all of my extensions and none of them have that particular URL/ID. -
It just happened again today, right in the middle of trying to figure out a bug on a site at work. I really don't want to have to switch off of Vivaldi while at work, but it's getting pretty frustrating to lose where I'm at at unpredictable moments. I'm on Vivaldi 2.6.1566.49.

Here it crashes everytime when I try to open developer tools.
The dump (whithout core) can be found here:
http://hek.bplaced.net/.ubuntu/vivaldi.dmp
I used the windows-version before, and don't know if it ever worked in the Linux-version.

@fksh Please read Help us to reproduce the issue carefully and then report bug to Vivaldi tracker.

@DoctorG I have to add that in order to keep my old settings from the windows-version I copied the files
Bookmarks, Login Data, Login Data-journal, and Preferences
from the windows-installation to the linux-directory, because I did not find a better way to keep my settings and passwords.
It seemed to work (except no passwords were displayed in Settings).
Now I removed Preferences and Login Data, and it does not crash anymore. Also the stored passwords are displayed correctly.
Are you still interested in reproducing it?

@fksh Copying Login Data and Preferences from an other OS is not recommended. And Login data from Windows is encrypted by a Windows-User related key and can not work on Linux.
If you need same browser data on all OS, please use Vivaldi Sync. -
