Solved Cannot change icon of Person in profile
-
First, I am logged in to Vivaldi.NET so I see my profile icon on the top right of the browser window.
Now, when I click there a menu drops down with Open guest window, Manage people & Exit Person 1. My first question, is Person 1 linked to my Vivaldi profile? I see that Person 1 has several bookmarks, etc. but then it has a generic person icon rather than the icon I use on Vivaldi.net
I tried to use Manage People to change the icon to something useful but it doesn't let me to! and if I remove that person I lose my bookmarks and there seems to be no way to migrate its data to another person I would like to create so that I can customize it.

@panamavibes chrome://settings/manageProfile
Yes, “Profile 1” is linked to your Vivaldi.net account

I noticed that if I add a new "person" then in its own Window I can change its name but the default Person 1 offers no possibility to do so.

@code3 Great man! thanks a lot! that indeed solved my issue. Although I think that is also present in Chrome (which I stopped using long ago due to Google's greediness), I am really liking Vivaldi (I hope it is memory efficient). I will explore the Save Session stuff because I like to have Tab Groups but I want to recall them only when needed.

You have a "profile"on the Vivaldi Community which shows at the top of the Community/Forum page (e.g. this tab) -

This is the "Profile Icon" on the Address/URL bar.
This refers to the profile the Vivaldi browser is using -

This is the Browser Profile button.
To change the Name or Icon, click on the > next to the profile name. -
