Where is extension data stored locally?
-
Where does Rescroller 'store' it's configuration.
I'd like to save a copy for when it gets lost. -
@geardoc47 I would change the question to:
Where is extension data stored locally? -
@geardoc47 Well, i dont know exactly, but i would assume its in
[Your vivaldi folder]\Applications[Your vivaldi version]\Extensions
Correct me if i am wrong -

Extension data is (I believe), primarily stored in
Local Extension Settings
In your Vivaldi profile folder. It is not stored in the "Application" folder.
There's probably data stored here as well:
Extension Rules
Extension State
Managed Extension Settings
Sync Extension Settings
These are all LDB databases and as such are black boxes unless you're a developer with access to the right tools.

OK, lets go the other way.
Rescroller loses it's configuration when I restart Vivaldi.
Does anyone know how to restore my configuration? -
@geardoc47 You should take this issue up with the creator of the extension.
Ed: Just to test, I installed the extension in a clean 4.0 profile and messed around with the settings. Closed Vivaldi, started again and the settings were still saved.
