Vivaldi slow to response on Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Google Translate, and other sites that change URL according to user action
-
Here is an example video of what I am experiencing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfXiCGw717Q
As you can see, while I type a sentence into Google Translate, it take Vivaldi two minutes to phase my sentence letter after letter into URL query and take response from the server (Despite the translation result have already showed up before this action complete). This single sentence keep Vivaldi browser busy for two minutes and lagging the computer.
Similar situation would also occur when user try to drag and drop and zoom in or out in Google Maps or OpenStreetMap due to them using slippery map system and the x/y/z coordinate of the map would be reflected onto URL whenever users pan or zoom on the map. -
@c933103 Hello, I can't reproduce this in a clean profile of Vivaldi 3.8 Stable.
Most likely it's one of your extensions or something else interfering. Or it could be specific to using JP locale.
Please try the troubleshooting steps first:

@pathduck No problem on another profile. Not sure what is the cause.

Hi folks. I have the same issue reported by @c933103
Dont know if it's could be a reason of this behaviour but, I notice this: While I was wrote inside the Google Translate page, word after word, the logs within Vivaldi Chronology menu kept adding, and I don't understand the need. Or maybe it's a bug?
