(VB-12492) Missing rightclick Menu on Bookmarks bar subfolders and folder content
-
Hi everyone, this post is to clarify an issue which seems to be missread in the comments to the blog. (sorry seems i cannot link straight to the comment section, look for posts from me and davesnothere) I and some others have mentioned the missing rightclick menu on the bookmark bar (not the panel!) on occasion. A reply from Jon made it clear that for some reason it must sound like we are asking for some completely different feature so i will use this post to explain it again. (basicly because i can include an image here) Problem description: Lets say you have a subfolder inside another folder. Or just some bookmarks inside a folder. Those of you using the bookmarks panel on the left side can now rightclick any folder, subfolder or bookmark inside of it and get a context menu (Open, delete, ...) Now those of us using the bookmarks bar instead of the panel will get the rightclick menu on the top level folder or on a bookmark directly on the bookmarks bar itself. If there is a subfolder inside a folder on the bookmarks bar or a bookmark is contained in a folder on the bookmarks bar once you do the rightclick there is no context menu. Instead the bookmarks bar top folder will just close and nothing else happens. Here is a picture to visualize this issue: Thanks for looking into this. Thanks for your feature request! As just mentioned in your comment on yesterday's snapshot, please report a feature request here so that the dev team can look into it. vivaldi.com/bugreport
Thanks in advance -
Thanks, but as noted in the comment you mentioned its already in the bug tracker as item VB-12492. I did edit the thread title now to reflect that information.
Cheers. -
