Dear Vivaldians, from the bottom of my heart thank you ❤️

Dear friends,
Recently I came across a lifetime opportunity allowing me to build IT solutions for the renewable energies sector which is closer to what I’ve studied (environmental sciences) mixing it with the strong IT experience I’ve gained at Vivaldi (and also previous work places).
My colleague @jane-n whom you also familiar with is taking over my tasks me over here. So if you have any questions related to the community, please reach out to her.
It’s been a real pleasure and honor to work with you all and I can’t thank you enough for your engagement and support with Vivaldi.
I’m super grateful to have been part of this adventure and help build Vivaldi’s community which remains unique with its incredible and knowledgeable members. Jon von Tetzchner is one of the few CEO who recognizes the importance of Community which is a real blessing for anyone working with it.
Thank you all for this great adventure, your great commitment and support to Vivaldi.
Take care and stay safe.

@Gaëlle Oh no, sorry to hear. Thank you for taking care of us and good luck on your new endeavour.

@Gaëlle Thanks for all the work in building this community. And thank you for the user support you've provided.
I'm glad you found an opportunity that you are excited and passionate about. Good luck.
-
@Gaëlle Good luck with harnessing the power from gales.
-
@Gaëlle , sad for your departure from Vivaldi but happy that you can dedicate yourself to your favorite activity and from which I wish you much success. Thank you for your great work in Vivaldi and I hope you come to visit us as a user in your spare time..
Good luck and stay save -
@Gaëlle Thanks for all that you have done to help build this amazing, vibrant, inclusive Vivaldi Community and for making the Vivaldi Community a better place. Your daily presence here will be dearly missed but we hope that you will continue to drop in from time to time!
Wishing you all the best of luck and success on your next adventure and in all your future endeavours!
-
@Gaëlle Many Thanks for all your efforts and hard work on the Community. You will be missed but I am happy to hear you've found this great opportunity .
All the best in your new endeavours.
[EDIT] We are locked down here so I can't get Champaign to toast your new job. -
@Gaëlle Hello Gaëlle,
sad news for us but good news for you!
Thank you very much for what you did bring to the community and to past conversations we had.
It was a pleasure to have you around.I'm happy for you.
Take care.
-
@Gaëlle It's such a sad news for the Community, especially for the French community as we were able to get in touch easily with a Team member.
I wish you all the best in your new job and I thank you for all the excellent work you've done here. It has been a real pleasure to interact with you.
Be happy, take care & stay safe.

Taking a look at your profile now, I saw that you were connected two hours ago. Knowing that this time of absence is likely to extend further and further, is a melancholy that makes me dream of a way of being that has an ineffable gift in which at least for some distances and absences never happen nor, therefore, are painfully felt.
-
Good luck

@Gaëlle even though I am new to Vivaldi I have to tell you I've learned a lot from your tutorials, especially the "Browser’s Most Helpful Features". What I also learned was the importance, at Vivaldi apparently, of saying "Happy Birthday" in different languages!
So, to say thank you for the education on how to use Vivaldi, I had prepared a quick reciprocal video on how to say "Happy Birthday" in the Lakota language https://youtu.be/KVPmQf_8vuQ
Which is "Aŋpétu túŋpi wašté"Best of luck to you in your next chapter in your career path.

help build Vivaldi’s community
Well, we could always use more people as active community members - even if they no longer have the Vivaldi badge.

Which is "Aŋpétu túŋpi wašté"Either the pronunciation of the Lakota language is very similar to English, or the presenter needs to do a lot more in his own accent.
-
@JoaBravo Huh? The Lakota language has many sounds different than English, though there are not many different, unique ones in this phrase. However, it appears to me the nasalized vowel sounds prompted by the following "ŋ", not present in English, are fairly well represented by this speaker.
