Is IMAP Logging Working for You?
-
Vivaldi 3.7.2209.3 64-bit on Windows 10 OS Version 2009 (Build 19042.804). (Not a fresh profile.)
2 IMAP accounts (Gmail and
vivaldi.net
)."Turn on IMAP logs in console" checked at
vivaldi://settings/mail/
(restarted afterwards and it's still on).Is logging working for anyone else? It's not working for me. If I open the console (ctrl + shift + j or by clicking the mail icon in the status bar, clicking on the gear icon and clicking "view log", then switching to the console tab) no mail operations are logged. I even tried clicking check/send after the console is open and still nothing related to mail.
I remember it working when M3 came out though. It's just not working for me now.

@Gwen-Dragon Tried
--debug-packed-apps --silent-debugger-extension-api
first, but that didn't work with ctrl + shift + j or "view mail log" with a folder in the mail panel selected. But, right-clicking on the mail panel toolbar and choosing "inspect background page" did the trick.I don't remember having do that. Must have slipped my mind. Thanks.

@Gwen-Dragon Thanks. Using "Inspect Background Page" is fine with me for now. Just didn't expect to have to do it like that and use command-line settings. No problem though now that I know. Might make a feature request to improve this though.

--silent-debugger-extension-api
doesn't seem to do anything as far as being able to see the IMAP log in the console.--debug-packed-apps
alone does that. Is the former really required for IMAP logging? -
